At the Musée Guimet

The Guimet Museum, located near the Iena Métro station in Paris is dedicated to Asian arts. There you will be able to learn and see many things on arts from Southeastern Asia, India, Tibet, Afghanistan, China, Korea and Japan.

I spent an afternoon there recently and needless to say, I really had a great time. It enabled to better know Buddhism and the effect it had on the region. I didn’t know it had such an important impact.

I also was able to see a Samurai armor – despite the Japanese collection is a bit too little to me – Ming vases and so on. Anyway, if you’re in Paris and would like to learn more about these cultures, go there ! 🙂
