It had been a while since I had read a Terry Pratchett adventure. But my recent trip to visit my close great Belgian friends – the ones that enabled me to discover An Pierlé, Terry Pratchett and countless other great things – gave me the occasion to borrow them some more books.
The Last Continent is a Rincewind adventure taking place in a parody of Australia where the main protagonist keeps on fleeing problems only to step into much bigger ones.
I had as usual with this author a great lot of fun and I daresay that the anti-hero that is Rincewind is particularly refreshing. The Wizards of Unseen University are still as hilarious.
I never been down under and this book just make me wish I could one day.
As usual with Pratchett, the reading / consultation of the related annotations are a must to have even more laughs.
